Dr. Johann Reyes is an ophthalmologist whose practice includes general ophthalmology (which includes cataract surgery) with subspecialty work in cornea and external eye disease and refractive surgery.

Dr. Reyes obtained his medical degree at the University of the Philippines Manila. He trained in ophthalmology at the University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital where he became the Assistant Chief Resident of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. He took clinical fellowship training in Cornea and External Eye Disease at the Philippine General Hospital and then fellowship training with the Johns Hopkins Hospital Cornea Service of the Wilmer Ophthalmological Institute of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is certified by the Philippine Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Reyes is affiliated with various hospitals and eye centers in Metro Manila. He is a member of the Committee on Continuing Education in Ophthalmology of the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology. He is a member of various sub-specialty societies including the Cornea Club of the Philippines, the Philippine Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is the lead author or co-author of numerous articles published in peer-reviewed medical journals and has delivered numerous scientific lectures and presentations locally and internationally.
